My reaction to the video

One teacher said "how smart boards replaced classic chalk and board." and that's true because it would be boring to me if i had to see chalk instead of a dry erase board because technology is updated and its time to change with society. They also talked about the thin line between cheating and just getting information and i believe it is. The student and the teacher have different views on what they think is cheating. The student may see it as reading information, while the teacher sees it as not get an understanding for yourself and letting someone else think for you. Plagiarism is simply taking work that's not yours.period.point.blank.

When using the internet teens don't say anything face to face anymore. Its verbally on the internet. Its nothing physical,meaning that teens would rather post updates on the internet thinking they wont get confronted for it. They think that the internet takes away from it being a human being but its still humans writing the post.

Its like people who dont have social lives outside of the internet almost create alter ego online and post pics to be someone they cant. Its like they live their lives through the internet and when its gone their lives are different. Also when you post things up you never knows who sees it and what their interpretations are and what they can do with that information.

Teens feel free to roam the internet and live these double lives do to the lack of supervision. Parents let them be enclosed in their room with a computer not knowing what they are doing. Like in one scene the dad had to e-mail his son to come eat or do something because his son was so caught up on the computer. In the other scene the girl got to pose in almost these nude pics and look older than she did because her parents never came in her room to see what she was doing.

My oline experiences have been useful to my everyday needs, whether im on Facebook keeping in touch with my friends, or doing research for my classes.

Whats bad to me about the internet is that it puts a lot of personal information on the web. So like people can get my address, phone number, and zip just by Googling my moms name. Thats real scary.

Whats good about the internet is that it is keeping up with society meaning that its becoming more advanced. I like that the internet can tell you what your thinking before you finished completely typing. The internet in the next couple of years will have so much information that we wont need textbook and stuff..and thats pretty scary.
